Vuba Stone resin bound surfaces are designed for long-lasting outdoor performance. Proper routine maintenance helps preserve the appearance, drainage, and overall condition of the finished surface.

Regular cleaning, careful pressure washing, proper drainage, and protection from chemicals, heavy loads, and sharp objects can help prevent unnecessary damage and keep the surface performing as intended.

MAINTENANCE GUIDE

How to Care
for Your Vuba Stone Surface

Following these maintenance practices can help protect the appearance and performance of your Vuba Stone resin bound surface over time.

R

Routine Cleaning

Sweep or blow off leaves, dirt, and debris regularly to prevent buildup.

For general cleaning, use water with a mild detergent and a soft-bristle brush or broom. Rinse thoroughly with clean water after cleaning.

Avoid harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaning products that may damage the resin binder.

R

Pressure Washing

Pressure washing may be used carefully when deeper cleaning is necessary.

Use a fan-tip nozzle rather than a concentrated jet and maintain a safe distance from the surface. Avoid excessive pressure that could damage or loosen the resin-bound aggregate.

R

Pool Chemicals & Chlorine

Avoid allowing concentrated pool chemicals or chlorine to remain on the surface.

If chemicals are spilled, rinse the affected area thoroughly with clean water as soon as possible. Do not place concentrated chemicals directly on the Vuba Stone surface.

R

Standing Water & Drainage

Keep surrounding drains and drainage areas clear of leaves, dirt, and other debris.

Standing water should not be allowed to remain unnecessarily on the surface. Proper drainage helps protect both the installation and the substrate beneath it.

R

Furniture, Heavy Loads & Sharp Objects

Use care when placing or moving furniture, equipment, or other heavy objects.

Avoid dragging sharp or heavy items across the surface. Use protective pads beneath furniture and equipment where appropriate to reduce concentrated pressure and potential surface damage.

R

Stains, Oil & Contaminants

Clean spills as soon as possible.

Oil, grease, food, and other contaminants should not be allowed to remain on the surface. Use a mild detergent and water for general cleaning and rinse thoroughly afterward.

Avoid aggressive solvents or chemicals unless specifically approved for use with the surface.

R

UV Care

Some natural color change may occur over time as the surface is exposed to sunlight and normal outdoor conditions.

Keeping the surface clean and properly maintained helps preserve its appearance. Follow any recommended sealer or topcoat maintenance applicable to the installation.

R

Inspection & Repairs

Inspect the surface periodically for signs of damage, movement, cracking, or areas requiring attention.

Addressing small issues early can help prevent further deterioration. Contact Pro Surfacing Services if you notice damage that may require professional evaluation or repair.

Vuba Stone resin bound installation warranty

01. Warranty Coverage

Pro Surfacing Services provides the following warranty coverage:

VubaMac Resin Bound Surfacing
10-Year Warranty

Vuba Topcoat (Sealer)
5-Year Warranty

Warranty coverage is subject to the applicable terms, conditions, exclusions, and maintenance requirements.

$500 deductible per approved warranty claim.

02. Customer Damage

Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, improper use, or actions outside the control of Pro Surfacing Services is not considered a material or workmanship defect.

Customers should protect the surface from sharp objects, excessive concentrated loads, dragging heavy equipment, and other activities capable of damaging the installation.

03. Chemical Exposure

Damage resulting from improper chemical exposure is not covered.

This includes concentrated chlorine, pool chemicals, solvents, acids, or other substances that may adversely affect the resin-bound surface or sealer.

Chemical spills should be diluted and rinsed promptly according to the maintenance recommendations.

04. Water & Substrate Movement

Damage resulting from standing water, drainage problems, groundwater conditions, substrate movement, cracking, settlement, or other underlying structural conditions may fall outside warranty coverage.

The performance of the finished surface is dependent in part on the stability and condition of the underlying substrate and drainage.

05. Normal Wear

Normal wear, weathering, aging, minor color variation, and changes resulting from ordinary exposure and use are not considered manufacturing or workmanship defects.

Surface appearance may naturally change over time due to environmental exposure and normal use.

06. Yearly Maintenance & Care

Proper maintenance is required to preserve the surface and warranty coverage.

The surface should be kept clean, drainage should remain unobstructed, damage should be addressed promptly, and recommended maintenance procedures should be followed.

07. Warranty Claims

Warranty claims must be submitted to Pro Surfacing Services for evaluation.

The company may inspect the installation and determine whether the reported condition falls within the applicable warranty coverage.

Proof of purchase, installation information, photographs, maintenance history, or other supporting information may be required when evaluating a claim.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Additional Warranty Terms

Warranty coverage applies only under the terms and conditions established for the original installation.

The warranty does not extend to conditions or damage outside the control of Pro Surfacing Services, including misuse, improper maintenance, chemical damage, drainage issues, substrate failure or movement, accidents, alterations, or other excluded conditions identified in the warranty.

Warranty service is subject to inspection and approval. Any repair or corrective action performed without authorization may affect warranty coverage.

The warranty applies to the applicable VubaMac resin bound surfacing and Vuba Topcoat components according to their respective coverage periods and stated conditions.

Customers are responsible for following the recommended maintenance and care guidelines throughout the life of the installation.
